This simple test requires detailed planning to quickly execute the connections to 4160V or 2380V power supply and breaker and to then pull the heavy turns through the generator core.

AC Generator Consultants can provide support and execute lower voltage core tests or repairs such as EL CID (digital or analog), acid etching repairs, core grinding or polishing, insertion of nonmetallic shims, opening core packages with mechanical spreaders and the addition of low surface tension air cure epoxies such as red eye or weeping epoxy.

We do belly band tightening, core flange nut tightening and knife testing of your generator core. Core ring testing or core loop testing require temperature ramp, soak time, convergence and divergence of temperature differential at hot spots.
