AC Generator Consultants will supervise, perform, qualify, conduct, analyze and coordinate all sorts of generator stator and rotor testing. Megger testing can be performed, specified or studied for all generator components such as rotors, fields, stators, high voltage bushings, connection rings, P bars, cables, RTDs, isolated phase bus, collector rings, bus bars, coils, poles, current transformers, surge arrestors, stand off insulators and terminal studs.

All sorts of shorted turn testing, evaluation, analysis is available during operation, at standstill and during repairs. RSO testing, AC impedance, pole drop testing, coil drop impedance and field winding resistance testing are used in combination to define the turn insulation condition.

Generator ground insulation condition can be accessed through appropriate combinations of RSO, megger, high potential (hipot), impedance, Doble and winding resistance.
